La figure humaine a longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 mon seul motif, avec le paysage en derri\u00e8re plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certainement \u00e0 cause de mon \u00e9ducation artistique dans les ann\u00e9es 70-80 ou le focus \u00e9tait l\u2019abstraction et conceptuel, le paysage \u00e9tait consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant \u201cringard\u201d. Et \u00e0 un moment donn\u00e9 le paysage avait \u00e9t\u00e9 quasiment banni du r\u00e9pertoire de la peinture contemporaine. Pourquoi? Ce sont au contraire, pas la nature, mais les repr\u00e9sentations qui sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s ennuyeux. La nature n’ennuie jamais, n\u2019est ce pas. Il y a des sujets in\u00e9puisables dans la nature. Et en observant, on n\u2019arr\u00eate pas de voir de plus en plus.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je suis tr\u00e8s sensible \u00e0 la beaut\u00e9. Nous en avons besoin. La beaut\u00e9 n\u2019est pas complexe. Je suis sensible \u00e0 la nature qui n\u2019est jamais au repos. Elle change constamment. C\u2019est le pouvoir de la nature qui nous parvient \u00e0 travers les couleurs, les contrastes et ses sensations. La nature est vivante, consciente, affirme sa pr\u00e9sence, et quand tu ressens quelque chose tr\u00e8s puissamment tu ne peux pas l\u2019\u00e9chapper;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u2019\u00e9prouve de la joie et de l\u2019amour \u00e0 peindre et dessiner. Mais aussi une bonne dose de frustration, m\u00eame parfois bouleversante. Consciente de la difficult\u00e9 du challenge que je m\u2019impose. Cela dit, il m\u2019est important de continuer \u00e0 me remettre en question.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pas tout sera une r\u00e9ussite. Mais le travail progresse. Avec des moyens simples et divers, pour prendre le temps. Le temps de r\u00eaver aussi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE INTENSITY OF NATURE The human figure has long been my only motif, with the landscape in the background. Certainly because of my artistic education in the 70s-80s where the focus was abstraction and conceptual, the landscape was considered to be \u201ccheesy\u201d. And at one point the landscape had been almost banished from the repertoire of contemporary painting. Why? On the contrary, it is not the nature, but the representations which are considered boring. Nature is never boring, is it? There are inexhaustible subjects in nature. And as you watch, you keep seeing more and more. I am very sensitive to beauty. We need it. Beauty is not complex. I am sensitive to nature which is never at rest. It is constantly changing. It is the power of nature that reaches us through colors, contrasts and its sensations. Nature is alive, conscious, affirms its presence, and when you feel something very powerfully you cannot escape it; I experience joy and love in painting and drawing. But also a good dose of frustration, even sometimes overwhelming. Aware of the difficulty of the challenge that I impose on myself. That said, it is important for me to continue to question myself. Not everything will be a success. But the work is progressing. With simple and diverse means, to take the time. Time to dream too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
